Schooley Mill Cross is just around the corner and we invite you all to join us and Team BBC for this great event. For those interested in racing, the course is like no other found in the Mid-Atlantic.This equestrian facility offers impeccable spectating as riders race across a large and varied course. It’s known as a high speed course and this year will not disappoint. But be prepared to show off those barrier skills in front of the beer tent!
Spectators can enjoy a tasty beverage and watch the action on nearly half of the course! Bring your chair and your ID and stay around to watch the elite men fly through the barriers! We’ve got a playground right next to the course so the little ones will have something to do between Little Belgian races. Top it off with food and coffee from local vendors and some of the best facilities any cross venue has to offer (did we mention heated bathrooms).
Join the ladies of Team BBC for a morning of skills, drills, & hot laps. The first part will be clinic-style, covering some CX basics in the baseball field at 29th and Sisson, then we'll spend the rest of our morning riding the infamous [Helen] Wyman Park loop, with focus on the different technical pieces commonly found in cross courses. Our hope is you ladies will ride away with increased confidence, and maybe try your first race in a couple weeks --> http://teambbc.net/schooley-mill-cross-2013/. Read full post
